Mommy's birthday

Ever since I can remember, I always said that when I started a family I wanted to have twins (I like to say I got the bonus baby when I found out I was having triplets!). Being a twin myself, I understand the amazing connection that multiples have with one another. My brother and I can't honestly say that we have had those "ESP" moments but the love we have for one another is like no other. Birthdays are always a little extra special. Some may think it wouldn't be fun to have to share a birthday... I like to think of it as I always have someone to celebrate with. Whether we celebrate together or simply in thought, I always know he is there. This year, Vince and I were able to celebrate a week earlier at my mom's house (a combo birthday/mother's day dinner). And although, I missed him on our actual birthday... I enjoyed a family day with my husband and beautiful babies. All day I looked at them wishing, hoping and praying that they will be able to share such a beautiful connection... that no matter where their lives take them, they always spend their birthday together even if only in thought.



So maybe we're not as cute as the first picture but I would say 28 isn't so bad! :)
