Egg-tastic!

I believe in years past, I've posted our tradition of coloring Easter eggs. Last year, the babies got a little taste of the experience but this year they were all in! As we prepared all of the cups, the babies had their way with the stickers that came out of the egg coloring package. Finally we gave each of them a few cups to dip their eggs into. Watching how each of them reacted was just hilarious. Tanner was insistent on getting his hands dirty. He wanted to dip and then hold as many eggs as he possibly could. Gianni wanted to keep clean, using his spoon to drop and stir the eggs. He preferred keeping the eggs in the color as long as possible. Ella followed directions perfectly, then got so excited that she knocked over a cup spilling blue dye all over her and the floor! Obviously, she didn't mind much!

As much as I love getting in on the action, it was much more fun just sitting back and watching (through my camera lens of course!). I must say I worried that Nunny's floor would be every color of the rainbow by the time we were done but I was pleasantly surprised. What a fun evening! The only thing that would have made the evening better was if Uncle Vince and Aunt Lolo could have joined us. They were definitely missed!

Next up... Easter weekend!

  1. Watching the babies color eggs was hilarious! Their excitement was soooo worth any mess they could have possibly made. Ella tried her best as you can see!:) Tanner was so excited he could hardly contain himself and Gianni was trying to be so meticulous. Too cute!!! I'M ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD TO COLORING EGGS NEXT YEARS!!
