Yes, that is right... my husband, Todd James... yes, Todd James... is now 30 years old! So what he has a few (several actually) new gray hairs on his head, he is one fine 30 year old man if I may say so myself. I had hoped to plan a surprise getaway but with his not so cooperative schedule, that plan was quickly squashed. Nonetheless, I made the most of the week by leaving him special gifts to find each day. I ended the week with his surprise gift, a video montage of our family and friends. Todd absolutely loved it! He laughed, he cried. He was completely touched by the entire thing. I can't thank everyone enough for making Todd's 30th birthday so memorable!
On Friday, we completed our celebration with dinner at Grande (aka. Ella's favorite pizza place - not sure how she made the decision instead of the birthday boy but no one seemed to mind) and cake at the house.
All in all, I think Todd really enjoyed the entire week! I made sure to be extra nice being that my 30th will be here soon enough.
