We can't believe that one year ago Dr. Toffle was nice enough to bring us into the world and introduce us to our beautiful Mommy. Do you know how beautiful you are? Us boys will forever want to marry you. Me, Miss Ella, will always want to be just like you (that's why I follow you around so much). You are so good to us. You take care of us, you love us, you feed us, give us bubble baths, give us kisses when we cry, and seem to want to play with us all day long. You are everything that we need and we will forever be in love with you. We can only imagine how your belly felt as we grew and grew. How did you handle it when the Wild Man would roll around at 11:30 every night and Little Lovely would kick her brothers all afternoon and Big Guy would get thunderous hiccups that would shake and rumble across your belly five times a day? Anyway, Mommy, we just wanted to tell you a few very important things. Mother's Day is a special day to recognize Mommy's all over the place. But we want to make sure that you know that our birthday, February 1st, will always be OUR day....Mommy's, Tanner's, Gianni's and Ella's Day, because without YOU, and only a Mommy like YOU, our lives would not be the same. You make our family complete, you make our house a home, and you love unconditionally and make us whole. We can't wait to wake up to see you again, but in the mean time, we'll be dreaming about you...
We love you so much,
Tanner, Gianni and Ella
XOXOXO XOXOXO XOXOXO
P.S. - Daddy had to type this up for us since we haven't brushed up on our typing skills yet. He wanted to tell you something too.....
Ash - After reading through your blog post last night before you posted it, I decided that there was nothing I could add to what you wrote. Sure, I have some personalized stories, little things that I love about each of the babies individually, but you hit the nail on the head with each of them. So, it felt good being able to focus on you in this post. You know how much you mean to me because I tell you all the time. I don't think you always realize how much I idolize you though. It is TOUCHING to watch you be a mother. It was from the day we found out you were pregnant to the day we saw the three heart beats to the day you PERFECTLY named the babies to this very minute. All that you went through physically and emotionally has culminated again today for me and I am awestruck by your beauty, your grace and most importantly your love. There is no other woman in the world like you, and I am the most blessed man in the world to be with you. You are amazing and you make me and you make our family complete.
I love you, I love you, I love you...
Todd
After reading all the post put up for the babies birthday..and going through many tissues..I took a deep breath and smiled! February 1st is a day no one will ever forget! All day long I relived every moment of that special day. You brought so much joy to all our lives, including being Mommy to your children who adore you. I love seeeing their faces when they see you. Their smiles seem to go on for days. I will always cherish the first 14 weeks that I spent with Tanner, Gianni and Ella when they came home from the hospital. It's just been amazing watching them grow and seeing their individual personalities..all so different..all so very special.
