Welcome winter...

We woke up this morning blinded by sparkling, fluffy white snow glaring through the window. Although the babies didn't seem to pay a bit of attention, I thought to myself... photo-opp! I couldn't wait to get the babies bundled up and head outside into the cold to see their reaction. I would say it is their first snow, but as most of you know that is not necessarily the case. When we were finally able to bring the babies home from the hospital back in February, Mother Nature decided to gift us over 30 inches of snow to mark the occasion. Much to my dismay, we also lost power and had to pack up my beautiful newborns and head to Nunny's. I can't believe how much time has flown by since then. So, here we are again... snow. But I must say, I'm enjoying this experience with the babies much more than the first time.

Gianni was very curious and cautious. After adjusting his eyes to the bright snow, he took everything in while making sure to keep an eye on Nunny too!

Tanner wanted to get his hands right in. I put some snow in my hand and he didn't hold back. After examining the small snowflakes on his hand, he thought... a little taste couldn't hurt.

Miss Ella was very curious as well. She carefully put her fingers on the snow in my hand. She watched as it melted and looked for more. Glancing up at Nunny with a smirk... look what I get to do :)

  1. I love all of these new pictures, especially the header for the blog page! I was just checking in after my 1 1/2 hour drive to an 8am-4pm conference day in northwest Houston. :(
But, now I am smiling and ready for the day! I can't wait to see your growing family in a few weeks!! They are precious.
