Fun Down South!

Last Wednesday, Nunny and Poppy, the babies and I headed for Georgia to visit family. On the way, we were able to stop and visit with the babies Great Aunt Jenn, Great Uncle Jeff and cousin Tyler. We drove to Charlotte and finished up the drive Thursday morning. The babies couldn't wait to get to their cousin Johnna's house! Thursday evening we visited with the Martin and Becker clans! It was so much fun watching all of the kids interact and play with the babies. Miss Ella loved her cousin Kailey's bright pink skirt with just a touch of sparkle. We even caught Brady sneaking a forehead kiss from Gianni. So sweet! We were so glad to be able to spend some time with Tony and Cristina before their family headed to the beach!

Friday we did a little running around but mostly just took it easy. The babies anxiously waited for Kyle, Drew and Ryan to get home from school. I love this picture of all the boys! Ryan also picked out special toys for the babies. He found this adorable purse just for Ella.

Usually on Saturdays we are cheering on the Mountaineers and the Irish, but not this weekend... instead, we were shouting "Go War Eagles!" and "Way to go Ryan!" Ryan showed off his football skills... the O-line wouldn't be the same without him! He definitely had quite the cheering section! Next year, we are excited to plan a trip to see Kyle and Drew play baseball... word is, they are pretty tough!

Sunday, we packed up from our fun-filled weekend and headed home. Luckily, our cousin Rose was home for an afternoon/lunch visit. She let us bombard her house and even got a little crash course in feeding babies :) Our next stop was Aunt Jenns for the babies dinner and finally back to Nunny and Poppy's house.

Thanks to everyone for such a wonderful weekend. We love all of you very much and can't wait for the next visit!

  1. We were very excited for the triplets to come to Ga. Of course we wanted to see their mom and their Nunny and Poppy too!! The weekend was over way too quickly. All 3 babies stole my heart with those beautiful smiles. We had a ball and can't wait for their return.
I miss them already!!! Hugs and kisses to the triplets. Love you lots
