Last Thursday (June 17) we departed from Bridgeport for West Palm Beach. The babies snuggled up in their car seats with their blankies and were ready to hit the road! Our first stop was at their Great Aunt Jenn's house in Bluefield. We had such a nice visit with her, Great Uncle Jeff and cousin Tyler. Of course, Aunt Jenn had way too much food! And I must note that she also made mine and Todd's favorite cake in the entire world... our wedding cake! Yum yum! Our next stop was in Charlotte at cousin Rose's house! After talking with Aunt Jenn we realized Rose would be the perfect stop for the babies last feeding of the night. We were so excited to spend some time with Rose and Jeff! Everyone was able to see Tanner roll and watch Gianni and Ella perform as well! What a great start to vacation!
We finally made it to St. Augustine around 4:30am. We unloaded the car, set up pack-n-plays and put the babies straight to bed. They did great! But then again, they are advanced :) hehe...
On Friday and Saturday we enjoyed walking the babies around St. Johns Towncenter and St. George Street. They love watching all of the action!
What an exciting adventure! I'm so glad you arrived safely and the babies are doing well. I feel like they have changed so much since I saw them two weeks ago!! The boys are so handsome and Ella's eyelashes are gorgeous! Looks like you are all having a great time. Miss you!
